I have a story in an anthology from a press I published with a few years back, called Red Polka Books. The name of the anthology is Sibling Syndrome. It’s different. The theme here are stories about brothers and sisters who care about each other, or have some kind of connection that goes beyond the norm. Hence, the title. And no, my story is not one of incest but one of speculative fiction. Imagine a sister and brother, who would go to the ends of the earth for each other, who would have each other’s back through thick and thin, could one day perceive the same imagery. My story is one about “identity distortion” and, eventually, “identity collapse.” It also has a Stranger Things vibe to it. Read my tale, “Mirror Child.” In the latest anthology from Red Polka Books. I’m pleased to announce I’m back at Hobb’s End Press for March 2026, and in Mobius Blvd Pulp Genre Magazine for a third time. This next story is one I wrote a couple of years back, almost borders on novelette length, and it’s a time-traveling western. Been a while since I’ve penned something set in the Wild Wild West (I think the last piece I wrote was The Show Must Go On). However, I am working on a new one as we speak, this one set on an Indian reservation. This particular tale, entitled The Missouri Man, is about a lawyer who finds a hole in back of his Westinghouse refrigerator. And that hole is a time tunnel. It leads back to the 1880s where this lawyer (a D. A., no less) must rescue a certain damsel in distress otherwise risk implications in the future. The magazine cover art and editorial was done by Wayne Kyle Spitzer. And it’s only $9.99 for the print, $3.99 for the Kindle version. The best of both worlds. Pleased to announce that I have a brand new science fiction short story set in the cold dangerousness of space appearing later this month (comes out on Kindle March 28th to April 1st), in Neil Hogan’s Anthology-Magazine Series, Alien Dimensions. This is the SECOND time, second credit I have with Alien Dimensions. I first appeared many, many years ago in Issue #14. But that sold out quick and is long out-of-print. Pleased to announce I have a flash fiction piece, along with 52 other authors, in the new Wicked Shadow Press anthology: FLASH OF THE DEAD. All the pieces contained within this book are “micro tales” under 1500 words in length. Also known as the short-short, in story form, that is what flash fiction essentially is. Small, QUICK stories, that you can read on the bus or subway on your daily commute to work, especially when you are getting off in a few stops, or from the comfort of bed while drifting off to sleep. My mini tale is zombie-themed (obviously), and it is called, “Saving the Dead.”
I will appear with a werewolf story in the late May digital anthology, CREATURES, by Tell-Tale Press. Edited by Andrea Dawn. There will be two versions to this anthology. A short story edition and a novelette edition. I’m in the short story edition.
