GHOST STORIES: “Ultramarine Literary Review” – Online Literary Magazine

Today’s acceptance is non-fiction, perfect for paranormal enthusiasts. What if I told you a Polish veteran once informed me that the forests of Poland are haunted? Strange things happen when you least expect them… Ancient curses, a man who is part owl, children and soldiers gone missing during World War II, supernatural castles in the woods, and genuine gravemarker tours. For this piece, I researched the spectral. It’s a regional article on the lore of one of Poland’s most notorious and spooky forests bordering Germany. POETRY BOOKS: “Primary Places Sci-Fi & Fantasy Poetry Vol. 2” – Edited by C.M. Bratton

Pleased to announce I have brand new science fiction-themed poetry in the latest chapbook from the San Antonio Science Fiction & Fantasy Author’s Association. I’m one of the headliners for their second volume, and it’s been quite a while since I’ve had any poetry accepted to a journal or magazine or book of some kind. I’d say the last time was the 2000s era. Primary Places is an annual chapbook series to my knowledge, 88 pages in length, and also features the poetic works of C.M. Bratton (who edited the book), E.W. Farnsworth, Kevin Looney, Patrick Neal, Juan Perez, Joseph A. Schiller, and Michael Wigington. The poems contained within run the gamut of your typical haikus to sonnets to other fixed verse form. The theme here is speculative: science fiction, fantasy, and mild touches of horror. There is artwork and photography accompanying the poems contained within. So, I am also pleased to announce I contributed some of these photos. This would be my first photography credit. Tales of the Talisman, Issue #8.4… (appearances)

And so this marks my 4th magazine appearance in a month.  I won’t have any more till year’s end, so I hope everybody enjoys their summer, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t drop by.  There will be free fiction (see Free Stories), free ebooks (short stories or novelettes), a new section on retro items, and more on the current book projects I’m working on, which will eventually lead us into 2014.  You stick around; it’s going to be fun, you hear.
