Magazines

Hi. My name is Lawrence Dagstine. Since 1996, my short stories of science fiction, fantasy, and horror appeared in a multitude of print periodicals, webzines, print anthologies, digital or trade-only publications, and more.  My work has been published somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 to 450 times. Many of these publications you see here no longer exist. It is a fact that most genre publications come and go, some times to be forgotten. Don’t be shy. Have a look around, at some of the banners of zines or magazine covers, places I once published with.

  1. Hi, this is Dave Combs. I used to publish THE ULTIMATE UNKNOWN. I was googling the magazine and found your page.

It was so kind of you to post the cover of the UU issue your fiction was published in, and very kind of you to say such nice things about the magazine, even though it stopped issuing a while ago. I remain very proud of what I was able to accomplish with the generosity of wonderful people such as yourself, and I am very proud that we (yes, Cassini is still going strong, a 17 year old cat who still rules with an iron paw, though from shorter book shelves now!) would be remembered when you are doing so well.

    Thank you,
    Dave Combs
