Welcome to a new page on this website. This section is currently under construction and will debut sometime after 2026. Much of the site is under construction. What are Exclusives? Or, in general, what does exclusivity mean? Exclusives is a place where you can buy print editions of brand new and never-before-published Lawrence Dagstine short stories in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror; sometimes referred to under its umbrella term, speculative fiction. These will be professionally edited and available in beautiful, limited paperback or hardback editions. While ebook versions will be available on Amazon (Kindle/KDP), and audiobook for your convenience, there’s something special about holding a physical short story collection or anthology in your hands—the smell of the paper, the words across a page you can turn and touch. A very pretty “boutique” product. Stay tuned for these after 2026. This is going to be something different. You’ll get truly professional tales that not only provide escapism, but have gone through a developmental filter, with the help of my backers and editors. Hopefully, in time, they will have intrinsic value, both personally and monetarily, on the secondary market (e.g., you can list them on eBay), as all Exclusives will never be reprinted.
I mean that. All new, never to be reprinted in the future. When you buy it physically, you’re owning a fresh book with stories never to be republished. Hence the term “Exclusive,” because it is specifically for you, the reader, not necessarily for other generations. It’s personal. It’s for your generation. Have you ever walked into a tailor and had them make a skirt or a pair of pants from scratch, tailored just for you?

But there is more to this new “Exclusivity Publishing Vehicle/Launch.” I will explain this in greater detail down the road. In the meantime, feel free to explore the rest of this website, where you can find a wealth of publishing credits spanning 30 years, from horror webzines to science fiction magazines to dark speculative fiction anthologies in between. There is a lot of pulp history here.
