Hi, this is Dave Combs. I used to publish THE ULTIMATE UNKNOWN. I was googling the magazine and found your page.

It was so kind of you to post the cover of the UU issue your fiction was published in, and very kind of you to say such nice things about the magazine, even though it stopped issuing a while ago. I remain very proud of what I was able to accomplish with the generosity of wonderful people such as yourself, and I am very proud that we (yes, Cassini is still going strong, a 17 year old cat who still rules with an iron paw, though from shorter book shelves now!) would be remembered when you are doing so well.

Thank you,
Dave Combs

Congrats on the sale--not often you can find an on-line market that PAYS. Nice looking 'zine too so at least your work will be presented in an attractive format. Writing spec fic and earning any kind of a profile is a tough gig and it seems like you're doing well. Good luck with your endeavors...
